Over the course of five days, participants will complete both classes.

The lumber grading short course will be taught by an Instructor from the National Hardwood Lumber Association and will follow their guidelines. This 3-day short course will cover lumber grading with classroom and local onsite lumber and log yard.

The log grading and scaling 2-day short course will provide training from the National Hardwood Lumber Association and address all grading and scaling logs issues. Training will take place in both the classroom and in a log yard.

Books and materials will be provided.
