Regional Entrepreneur Conference  

Hopkinsville Community College is committed to entrepreneurial development as an essential component of economic growth and workforce solutions. To enhance and expand our efforts, we are working with our business, industry and economic development partners throughout the region to host a conference for entrepreneurship, Wednesday, March 7, from 8:30am-3:30pm. The conference includes breakfast and lunch, and promises to be an enriching experience for entrepreneurs of all stages, as well as their service providers.

Highlights will include: Keynote speaker Marques Ogden. He will provide a unique insight on how to be a successful business owner. He was a former NFL lineman who opened his own construction business and lost it all by a bad business decision. Now he is a successful author and speaker sharing his tips for success. The opening general session will feature a panel of local entrepreneurs. Six break-out sessions focusing on topics such as business planning, Networks, LinkedIn, Basic Business Numbers, Crowdfunding, and Traditional Marketing. Entrepreneur Resource Fair featuring exhibit tables from area entrepreneur resource partners.
