An Introduction to Computer Basics   

Never used a computer before? No problem! This friendly, hands-on class is designed for absolute beginners who want to learn the most basic computer skills in a relaxed, supportive setting.

In this class, you will learn how to:

    • Turn a computer on and off
    • Use a mouse and keyboard
    • Understand basic parts of a computer (screen, desktop, icons, etc.)
    • Open simple programs like a web browser or word processor
    • Use basic typing and learn how to click, drag, and scroll
    • Practice opening and closing windows
    • Get familiar with using the internet and searching safely

This course is perfect for seniors, adult learners, or anyone who’s brand new to computers. No experience is needed—just bring your questions and your willingness to learn.
