Certified Production Technician and Manufacturing Skills

The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) credentialing system for CPT covers four critical production functions: Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Processes & Production, and Maintenance Awareness. MSSC is a nationally validated skill standard; common for all sectors of manufacturing. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. MSSC assesses core technical knowledge; therefore, a pre-assessment (TABE Test) is required - participants must meet 9th Grade Math and 10th Grade English standards.
