Youth Class Ages 8-13

This class will begin with discussing the characteristics of wood from seed to lumber. Students will create sketches and scale drawings of their own piece of furniture and learn how to properly and safely use basic hand tools. We will cover techniques of joinery for building simple to complex structures paired with surface embellishments of painting techniques to finish our pieces with style and comfort! Face masks are required.

PSAD SUMMER 2021 COMMUNITY EDUCATION CLASSES FOR  YOUTH AGES 8-13. The safety and health of WKCTC students, faculty and staff is a top priority. Physical distancing, face coverings, and hand washing will continue to be required at WKCTC.
