The description of this Advanced ASL course is: 1) review and expand practice of the key grammar from Units 1-6; 2) practice other language functions and their key grammatical features; 3) expand vocabulary and range of topics; 4) increase narrative and conversational fluency; 5) compare aspects of ASL and English through translation exercises; 6) compare aspects of the Deaf culture, American culture and your own culture; and 7) understand your role as an ASL student in the Deaf community.
