In this four-hour workshop, attendees will learn about the basics of indigo dyeing natural materials like cotton, wool, silk, and linen. Shibori techniques will be introduced to the group, along with setting up different kinds of indigo vats. Materials will be provided but attendees are welcome to bring some small pieces of fabric or yarn in to experiment with. No previous indigo dyeing experience is needed to participate.
